During construction the contractors are managed to achieve the original cost estimate, the schedule and the utmost measure of quality on a safely run site. All involved are kept up to speed on the project through on-line reporting with a hard copy monthly of information regarding any concerns, cost data to date, scheduling and pending issues.
What is the difference between Competitive Bid and Negotiated Bid?
With Competitive Bid, the Owner has an Architect design the project and issue the drawings to prospective bidders and the project is contracted to the lowest responsible bidder.
With Negotiated Bid, the owner selects several Contractors to provide pricing then meets with each Contractor to discuss the project start to finish.
